The Sagalas before and after the procession - surviving the unbearable heat...

Even when the tropical sun was just about to set, the temperature remained in the high 90s and everyone seemed to be dripping and soaking in their own sweat, the beauty queens participating in the 2010 ARANETA GRAND SANTACRUZAN last Saturday, May 22nd remained unaffected at all, save for few demure wipes here and there.***View its corresponding Photo Gallery by clickingHERE. Everyone was anxious to see 'her' after the Tempest as well as the rest of the Bb. Pilipinas' current and past winners at the annual Araneta Grand Santacruzan '10 in Cubao, QC held last May 22nd. 'Her' fans and supporters were not disappointed, for she was at 'her' lovely best, and thus, delivered what was expected of 'her'.. (curiously though 'she' wasn't this year's Reyna Elena). Meanwhile, Miss Universe of 1969 was the finale number of the Marian procession as Reyna Emperatriz, who almost but not quite, stole the spotlight from 'her'.
